Art. 196. Los fondos destinados para la renta del tabaco, no podrán tener otra aplicación que la que les diere la Direccion del ramo para el fomento de las factorías i demás gastos que exija la renta; i por tanto se conservarán en rigoroso deposito en arca separada, bajo la responsabilidad del tesorero i contador de la tesorería jneral, visitándose mensualmente por el contador general mayor de hacienda, i por el Director de tabacos, cuando este tenga a bien practicar alguna visita estraordinaria.
