La Oficina de Planeación estará integrada por seis (6) funcionarios de los cuales el Jefe de la Oficina deberá estar inscrito en la Carrera Diplomática y Consular con el rango de Embajador, y los otros cinco (5) de libre nombramiento y remoción por parte del Gobierno, con una equivalencia en planta interna a Embajador o a Ministro Plenipotenciario.
