A la Academia Colombiana de la Lengua, como cuerpo consultivo del Gobierno se le encargara la labor de continuar, ampliar e intensificar la campaña por la defensa y pureza del idioma español, con la mayor divulgación de las correcciones del lenguaje, Igualmente asesorara, al Ministerio de Gobierno en materia de Registro de Propiedad Intelectual y prensa, y al Ministerio de Fomento en materia de registro de Propiedad Industrial, cuando cualquiera de estas dos entidades así lo solicite.
