El porcentaje de retención cafetera que el artículo 63 del Decreto-ley 444 de marzo 22 de 1967 y normas concordantes autorizan señalar al Gobierno, será igual a una cantidad de café pergamino equivalente al treinta y nueve por ciento (39%) del café excelso que se proyecte exportar, de la calidad y tipo que señale la Federación Nacional de Cafeteros de Colombia.

Parágrafo

El porcentaje de retención cafetera establecido es equivalente a treinta y cinco diez (35.10) kilogramos de café pergamino por cada saco de setenta (70) kilogramos de café excelso, que se proyecte exportar.
