Ley 72 de 1917 · Que reforma y adiciona las Leyes 71 de 1915 y 80 de 1916, sobre pensiones y recompensas

No tiene derecho a establecer demanda de pensión o recompensa, ni a recibir una u otra, la persona que disponga de una renta mensual mayor de cincuenta pesos ( $ 50 ), proveniente de capital, oficio o profesión , destino militar o empleo público nacional, departamental o municipal, o dietas como miembro del congreso.

Mientras el pensionado reciba por cualquier motivo la renta indicada en el inciso anterior, se le suspenderá administrativamente el pago de la pensión.
