Del Interés Público y Social. Las áreas potenciales que la entidad territorial defina en los Planes de Ordenamiento Territorial (POT), Planes Básicos de Ordenamiento Territorial (PBOT), o Esquemas de Ordenamiento Territorial (EOT), según sea el caso, para la ubicación de infraestructura y prestación de la actividad complementaria de tratamiento de residuos sólidos, son de interés público y social.
