Los suplentes reemplazarán a los principales en sus faltas temporales o absolutas. Cuando falten absolutamente un miembro principal y su suplente, el Superintendente Bancario procederá a reemplazarlos hasta la terminación del período, escogiendo de entre los nombres que figuren entre los candidatos elegibles al comienzo del período.
