Cuando en el Municipio no hubiere Inspector de Policía, el Alcalde o el funcionario que haga sus veces para estos efectos, conocerá en primera. o en única instancia, según el caso, de los asuntos y negocios a que se refiere el artículo anterior. El respectivo Gobernador, Intendente o Comisario, decidirá en segunda instancia, cuando a ello hubiere lugar. Los Inspectores, Alcaldes y demás autoridades previstas en este Código tramitarán y decidirán los asuntos policivos de su competencia de conformidad con el procedimiento y demás preceptos que contengan las normas pertinentes.
