Las condiciones uniformes del contrato permitirán tanto a la empresa como al suscriptor o usuario verificar el estado de los instrumentos que se utilicen para medir el consumo; y obligarán a ambos a adoptar precauciones eficaces para que no se alteren. Se permitirá a la empresa, inclusive, retirar temporalmente los instrumentos de medida para verificar su estado.
