Los Colombianos que hayan servido a la república como aviadores militares o civiles durante un lapso mayor de ocho años y que estén incorporados en el ejército, tendrán derecho a una pensión de retiro igual al 80 por 100 del sueldo que estén devengando en el momento en que se les conceda retiro, el cual no podrá decretarse sino por las causas que determine el Gobierno en el decreto reglamentario de esta Ley.
