Deróganse los Decretos números 2675 de septiembre 9 de 1954 y 0197 de Agosto 30 de 1957, promedio de los cuales se creó la Secretaría Nacional de Asistencia Social (SENDAS) hoy Servicio Nacional de Asistencia Social (SAS) . Todos los bienes de esta institución, del mismo modo que la administración y sostenimiento de los establecimientos asistenciales que de ella dependan, pasarán, a partir de la vigencia de la presente Ley, al Ministerio de Salud Pública.
