Articulo 2.° A partir de la misma fecha del primero (1.°) de febrero próximo venidero y hasta la terminación de la presente vigencia fiscal, suspéndense las disposiciones a que se refiere la Ley 3.ª de 1940. En consecuencia, durante las reuniones del Congreso, el total de los sueldos de la Secretaría del Senado no podrá exceder de seis mil pesos ($ 6.000.00) mensuales ni el total de los sueldos de la Secretaría de la Cámara de Representantes de siete mil quinientos pesos ($ 7,500.00) mensuales, y, durante el receso parlamentario, no podrán exceder de dos mil quinientos pesos ($ 2.500.00) y tres mil pesos ($ 3 000.00) mensuales, respectivamente.
