Artículo noveno. Con el objeto de llenar estas funciones docentes, el Centro tendrá un Seminario, que llevará también el nombre del gran humanista americano, cuyo fin será formar y adiestrar los especialistas en fonética española, gramática descriptiva e histórica, semántica, etimología, lexicología y lingüística en general que necesitan los pueblos hispanoamericanos para colaborar eficazmente con la Real, Academia Española y las Academias Nacionales de la Lengua, existentes en América, en la conservación y desarrollo del castellano, y especialmente en la formación de un vocabulario uniforme de tecnicismos que vaya recogiendo día por día los progresos en todos los ramos del saber y las modalidades de la vida moderna.
