Prestación del servicio. El servicio de transporte marítimo internacional, se prestará por empresas nacional y extranjeras, legalmente constituidas de acuerdo con las normas vigentes del país de origen, debidamente habilitadas y con permiso de operación vigente expedido por DIMAR, conforme a lo dispuesto en el presente decreto.

Parágrafo

La prestación del servicio público de transporte marítimo internacional, además de las normas y regulaciones nacionales aplicables, se regirá de conformidad con los tratados, convenios, acuerdos y prácticas celebrados o acogidos por Colombia para tal efecto.
