Cambio De Naturaleza De Los Empleos

Ley 909 de 2004 · LEY 909 DE 2004, 23/09/2004, por la cual se expiden normas que regulan el empleo público, la carrera administrativa, gerencia pública y se dictan otras disposiciones.

El empleado de carrera administrativa cuyo cargo sea declarado de libre nombramiento y remoción, deberá ser trasladado a otro de carrera que tenga funciones afines y remuneración igual o superior a las del empleo que desempeña, si existiere vacante en la respectiva planta de personal; en caso contrario, continuará desempeñando el mismo cargo y conservará los derechos de carrera mientras permanezca en él.

Cuando un empleo de libre nombramiento y remoción sea clasificado como de carrera administrativa, deberá ser provisto mediante concurso.
