Cuando una visa diplomática se expida en el país de origen del interesado, deberá ser solicitada por la respectiva cancillería o en el país sede por el organismo internacional. Cuando el interesado se encuentre en país distinto, la solicitud deberá hacerla por escrito, su misión diplomática o la representación del organismo internacional respectivo.
