Los municipios y las áreas de cobertura del patrimonio cultural cafetero de Colombia, deben velar por el cumplimiento de cada uno de los criterios definidos por la Unesco y realizar el seguimiento de ellos, actuando en concordancia con la protección del reconocimiento. Dichas actividades deben realizarse en coordinación con la Comisión Técnica Intersectorial del Paisaje Cultural Cafetero, definida por la Ley 1913 de 2018.
