El Ministerio de Salud o la entidad en quien éste delegue podrán otorgar autorización sanitaria de instalación a las fuentes fijas artificiales nuevas de contaminación del aire y autorización sanitaria provisional de funcionamiento parte aire a las fuentes filas artificiales existentes que desarrollen ampliaciones o modificaciones que impliquen cambios en el tipo, cantidad o concentración de sus emisiones contaminantes.
