Las Juntas Departamentales organizadoras de la lucha contra la tuberculosis, creadas por la mencionada Ley 66 de 1916 , quedan reformadas por uno de los Secretarios de la respectiva Gobernación, del Director Departamental de Higiene y de un Médico graduado, nombrado por el Gobernador del Departamento, y que tendrá como honorarios cinco pesos ($ 5) por cada sesión a que concurra. Funcionará como Secretario el Oficial Escribiente de la Dirección Departamental de Higiene. En Cundinamarca la Dirección Nacional de Higiene, desempeñará las funciones de Junta Departamental.
