Los prestatarios del servicio de radio aficionado de Segunda categoría podrán realizar transmisiones dentro de las siguientes bandas de frecuencias y tipos de emisión: 1800 a 2000 Khz., 3500 a 3750 Khz., 7000 a 7300 Khz., 21000 a 21450 Khz., 28000 a 29500 Khz., 50 a 54 Mhz., 144 a 148 Mhz., y 430 a 440 Mhz. en los tipos de emisión A1A, A2A, PoA y X3E. De 1800 a 2000 Khz., 3525 a 3750 Khz., 7040 a 7300 Khz., 28300 a 29500 Khz.; y 144 a 148 Mhz., en los tipos de emisión A3E, R3E, J3E y F3E.

Parágrafo

Los licenciatarios de Segunda categoría podrán operar con una potencia máxima de cien (100) vatios de salida, medidos sobre carga fantasma, parámetros válidos para sistemas de HF.
