Art. 97. Las autoridades encargadas de practicar las visitas mensuales que la ley previene á las Oficinas nacionales de manejo, tienen el deber de presentarse en la Oficina que deben visitar el día último de cada mes; y si no encontraren aún pronta la cuenta para ser presentada ó remitida, lo harán constar así en una diligencia que enviarán á la Oficina de Cuentas por el primer correo siguiente, ó en el mismo día si la Oficina visitada fuere de la capital. Esta diligencia se pasará por el Presidente de la Oficina al Contador respectivo para los efectos del artículo anterior.
