La ruta que ha de seguir esta vía se ajustará al trazado que se hizo para la prolongación del ferrocarril de Santa Marta a Plato, si a juicio del Ministerio de Obras Públicas dicha ruta fuere la más conveniente, de acuerdo con la técnica y los intereses nacionales.
