El que por medio de halagos, promesas, dádivas, ofertas de dinero y otros medios; o el que valiéndose de amenazas, intimidaciones o cualquier otra clase de violencias pretenda obligar o inducir a algún director de periódico o periodista a hacer alguna publicación de carácter calumnioso o injurioso, contra cualquier persona o entidad, incurrirá en multa de $ 500.00 a $ 2.000.00, convertible en arresto, en la forma ordinaria.
