Art. 16. Fuera de las causas de nulidad de matrimonios civiles enumeradas en el artículo 140 del Código y en el 13 de esta Ley, no hay otras que invaliden el contrato matrimonial. Las demás faltas que en su celebración se cometan, someterán á los culpables á las penas que el Código Penal establezca.
