Art. 45. Recibidas las contestaciones ó corrido el plazo fijado para la notificación, el Contador procederá á fenecer la cuenta, absolviendo á los responsables de los cargos que hubieren contestado satisfactoriamente, o elevando á alcance líquido el importe de los cargos no satisfechos. De este auto de fenecimiento, si no fuere absolutorio, se pasará copia auténtica al Gobernador del respectivo Departamento para que exija al responsable, ó en su caso á los fiadores, herederos o albaceas, que consignen en la Oficina designada en el auto, el importe del alcance líquido deducido, si no fuere apelado.
