Cuando se haya recaudado prueba que permita la formulación de cargos, o vencido el término de la investigación, dentro de los quince días siguientes, el funcionario de conocimiento, mediante decisión motivada, evaluará el mérito de las pruebas recaudadas y formulará pliego de cargos contra el investigado u ordenará el archivo de la actuación, según corresponda, sin perjuicio de lo dispuesto en el inciso 2º del artículo 156.
