º IMPORTACIONES TEMPORALES. Podrá traerse temporalmente al país, previa obtención de una Licencia Transitoria no reembolsable, sin el pago de ninguna clase de derechos, pero con garantía que asegure su reexportación o despacho para consumo definitivo, maquinaria y equipos necesarios para adelantar obras públicas u otras actividades de especial importancia para el desarrollo económico y social del país, en los términos de los artículos 23 del Decreto-ley 688 de 1967 y del 220 del Decreto número 2666 de 1984, Decreto número 1733 de 1986 o las normas que los modifiquen o sustituyan.
