De la delegación de la inspección y vigilancia sobre el patrimonio de las fundaciones o instituciones de utilidad común de ámbito territorial restringido. Delégase en los Gobernadores y Alcalde Mayor de Bogotá, D. E., la inspección y vigilancia sobre las fundaciones o instituciones de utilidad común cuyo objeto consista en la prestación de servicios de salud en el ámbito municipal, distrital, metropolitana o departamental, con el fin de garantizar que sus rentas se conserven y sean debidamente aplicadas y que en lo esencial se cumpla la voluntad de los fundadores. Esta función se cumplirá con el concurso de la respectiva dirección del sistema de salud. (Artículo 44 del Decreto 1088 de 1991)
