Las esmeraldas que se despachen de las minas vendrán en cajas cerradas y selladas, y se recibirán en esta ciudad por el Ministerio de Hacienda o el empleado que haga sus veces, el Tesorero General y el Presidente de la Corte de Cuentas, y serán depositadas en caja triclave, una vez recibidas, conservando cada uno de dichos funcionarios una de las llaves.
