Fíjase en un dólar (US $.100) por hectárea sin bajar en ningún caso de quince mil dólares (US $ 15.000.00), en dinero efectivo o en documentos de deuda externa nacional el monto de la garantía prendaria de los contratos de exploración y explotación de petróleos de propiedad nacional que se celebren a partir de la vigencia de esta Ley. Queda en estos términos modificando el artículo 13 del Código de Petróleos.
