Como homenaje de Colombia al tribuno elocuente, un retrato al óleo del extinto será colocado en el salón de sesiones de la Asamblea del Cauca, y la Nación costeará el apropiado arreglo del parque donde está colocado hoy su busto, por disposición de la Municipalidad, en la ciudad de Caloto.
