CONCEPTO DE EMPRESA EDITORIAL. Se entiende por empresa editorial, la persona jurídica responsable, económica y legalmente, de la edición de libros, revistas o folletos, de carácter científico o cultural, aunque el proceso productivo se realice total o parcialmente en talleres propios o de terceros. La exención mencionada cobijará a la empresa editorial aun en el caso de que dicha empresa se ocupe de la distribución y venta de los mismos.
