Los testigos, antes de rendir su testimonio, prestarán juramento de declarar solamente la verdad y toda la verdad que conocieren acerca de los hechos por los cuales se les interroga. Este juramento se lo tomará el juez o funcionario de instrucción, quien además deberá leer al testigo, antes de recibirle su testimonio, los artículos del Código Penal sobre falso testimonio.
