El Director dará cuenta de los nacimientos que ocurran en la Cárcel o Penitenciaría a las autoridades encargadas del registro civil, con el fin de que se haga el asiento correspondiente en los libros; igual aviso debe darse al Juez o funcionario de instrucción, si fuere el caso, lo mismo que a los parientes que indique la detenida o condenada.
