Autorizase igualmente al Gobierno para concurrir con la Compañía del Ferrocarril del Pacífico, previa solicitud de ésta, en las negociaciones para la consecución de un empréstito hasta de diez millones de pesos oro ( $ 10.000, 000), en las condiciones estipuladas en los ordinarios a), b), c) y d) de la parte segunda del artículo 1º y de los artículos 2º, 3º y 4º de la ley 55 de 1916 , bien entendido que si no se consiguiere tal empréstito por causas ajenas a la voluntad del Gobierno y de la Compañía, el contrato de prórroga que se celebre en los términos de esta Ley, quedará siempre en vigor.
