Instituciones propias en salud . Son las estructuras propias e interculturales de salud creadas en el marco del Gobierno Propio, para la operatividad y funcionamiento del SISPI en el territorio indígena. Las instituciones propias estarán bajo la orientación política, técnica y administrativa de los Consejos y estructuras de Gobierno Propio y estarán definidas en el documento que consigne el modelo, proceso o forma de cuidado en salud propia e intercultural. Los Territorios Indígenas, en el ejercicio de su autonomía y libre determinación, crearán o transformarán las instituciones y estructuras propias para la operatividad del SISPI.
