Defensa oficiosa. Los abogados al servicio del Ministerio de Defensa y de la Policía Nacional, cuando así lo autoricen el Ministerio de Defensa y el Director General de la Policía, podrán representar judicialmente a los Oficiales y Suboficiales de la Policía Nacional sindicados de delitos de competencia de la Justicia Ordinaria, siempre que la comisión de tales delitos se haya originado en actos relacionados con el servicio.
