Naturaleza del Fondo Especial Cuota de Fomento de Gas Natural. El Fondo Especial Cuota de Fomento de Gas Natural creado por el artículo 15 de la Ley 401 de 1997, modificado por las Leyes 887 de 2004, 1151 de 2007 y la Ley 1450 de 2011., es un fondo especial, sin personería jurídica, administrado y manejado por el Ministerio de Minas y Energía, el cual para efectos de dicha administración hace parte del Presupuesto de Ingresos y Gastos de la Nación - Ministerio de Minas y Energía con destinación específica de acuerdo con la ley, sujeto a las normas vigentes aplicables.
