Art. 1.° Establécene transitoriamente cinco plazas de Injenieros oficiales, de ellos uno con el carácter de principal i cuatro con la denominacion de auxiliares, i se les destina en clase de colaboradores al Cuerpo de Injenieros contratados en Lóndres para practicar las esploraciones i trazados de los caminos de ferrocarril o mistos de Bogotá, por los Estados de Boyacá i Santander, al rio Magdalena.
