El derecho de cobrar pensión del Tesoro nacional se pierde:

Por ser condenado a pena corporal por los tribunales de la Unión o de los Estados, conforme a la lei penal.

Por tomar participación en alzamientos o sediciones contra el Gobierno nacional o los Gobiernos lejítimos de los Estados; i

Por fomentar o ausiliar enganches o levas que tengan por objeto turbar el orden público en otro Estado de la Unión o invadir el territorio de una Nación amiga.
