Cuando se demuestre el extravío o pérdida de los despachos militares, y sea necesario recibir el testimonio ciudadanos residentes en el Exterior, para comprobar grados y servicios, los Cónsules o Agentes Diplomáticos de Colombia, acreditados en el lugar de la residencia de los testigos, recibirán, a solicitud de los interesados, las declaraciones de quienes se allanen a rendirlas, con la plenitud de las formalidades y exigencias de que tratan los artículos 683 y siguientes del Código Judicial.

Parágrafo

Queda en estos términos adicionado el artículo 2° del Decreto número 322 de 1938.
