Ley 329 de 1996 · por la cual la Nación se vincula a la celebración de los cuatrocientos cuarenta y cinco (445) años de la fundación del municipio de Villavieja, en el departamento del Huila, rinde tributo de admiración a su fundador, exalta las virtudes de sus habitantes y ordena en su homenaje la construcción de algunas obras.
