Art. 1.° El individuo o Compañía o a quien el Gobierno del Estado de Santander adjudique el privilegio ofecido por la lei XII de aquel Estado, para navegar por buques de vapor por el rio Carare, recibirá una subvención hasta de dos mil pesos anuales, por el término de cinco años, que se pagarán del Tesoro de la Unión, por semestres vencidos, prévia comprobación de lo que se dispone por el artículo 2° de esta lei.
