Atendiendo las normas aplicables en eventos de desastres y catástrofes públicos, la situación de fondos por parte de la Defensa Civil Colombiana a organismos y entidades oficiales del orden nacional, por cuyo conducto se requiera prestar atención en estos casos, se hará en la cuenta denominada Fondos Especiales Oficiales, bajo el control y vigilancia de la Contraloría General de la República.
