Los Presidentes de las corporaciones electorales pueden solicitar de la primera autoridad política correspondiente el auxilio de la policía o de la fuerza pública, en el caso de que ello sea necesario para su funcionamiento regular y para mantener el orden; y la autoridad está en la obligación de prestar el auxilio solicitado.
