De acuerdo con la Junta Directiva del Banco de la República, el Gobierno procederá a emitir monedas de cobre-níquel hasta completar en circulación la suma de seis millones de pesos ($6.000.000.00), en monedas de 1, de 2 y de 5 centavos.

Parágrafo

- El Gobierno señalará las características de estas monedas; pero la aleación de ellas será de 25% de níquel y 75% de cobre.
