La Nación reconoce a favor del Municipio de Cali la cantidad de cinco millones seiscientos once mil diez y ocho pesos con trece centavos ($ 5.611.018.13) por inversiones realizadas por el Municipio, con base en el artículo 12 de la Ley 48 de 1943 , en las obras de defensa del río Cali, saneamiento de sus aguas, ensanches, ampliación y embellecimiento de las avenidas Uribe Uribe y Colombia.
