En toda Penitenciaria y en las Cárceles, cuando fuere el caso, el Director debe formar la correspondiente cartilla biográfica de cada condenado, en la cual se resuman las anotaciones concernientes al mismo, que se encuentren en los libros o registros del establecimiento y las que se hayan tomado durante la prisión preventiva. Las cartillas biográficas se conservarán debidamente clasificadas. En caso de traslado de un condenado a otro establecimiento, se remitirá su cartilla con aquél.
