Cuando la Procuraduría General de la Nación inicie o asuma una investigación disciplinaria contra un empleado judicial, la autoridad nominadora podrá ordenar la suspensión provisional de éste, informando de ello a la Procuraduría. La suspensión provisional deberá ordenarse por el nominador del empleado investigado a solicitud de la Procuraduría General de la Nación.
