La Superintendencia de Valores es un organismo técnico, adscrito al Ministerio de Hacienda y Crédito Público que tiene por objeto estimular, organizar, desarrollar y regular el mercado público de valores, así como ejercer las funciones establecidas en el Decreto 2739 de 1991, además de las que las normas vigentes le señalen y las que le delegue el Presidente de la República.
